Benington
Securities was established in November 1972 offering domestic and corporate mortgages in West
London and the Home Counties of England. By 1976 the business had
developed to the point where the focus became fixed on big ticket commercial
funding,
sale and lease-back and investment finance across the UK..
During
the decade commencing 1976 a large number of major real estate projects
were funded throughout England including the regional head offices of
Barclays Bank plc. at Crystal House, Luton; Neil House, 1 Whitechapel,
London EC1;
Gallagher's Distribution Centre at Stoke on Trent; Lesney Products'
offices and factory at Thamesmead, South London. A broad ranging insurance
brokerage was established to service all the needs of a more than 1,000
strong client base.
In the
late 1970s the horizons were broadened to include international projects,
primarily hotel acquisitions and finance for a major US hotel chain. The
insurance portfolio was sold off in 1982 to enable the business to
concentrate of the ever growing needs of the major real estate clients.
Following the
catastrophic UK property crash of 1990, attention become focused on the
means and methods by which recovery and support finance could be arranged
for the many struggling real estate based companies, both in the UK and
overseas. As part of this enterprise, imaginative and sophisticated
financial structures were developed resulting in a portfolio of new
financial facilities which evolved into the facilities that we offer
today.

Day
Benington
Securities remains a private enterprise brokerage that specialises in the
development of sophisticated, big ticket financial products aimed at the
corporate investment and development markets. Resources include some
of
the World's largest privately owned industrial and financial institutions. In addition, a small
portfolio of
private funders and investors is always interested in smaller
transactions and direct investment.
Benington
Securities is neither a lender nor an investment principal, it was
recently restructured as a limited company registered in the United
Kingdom.
